Who we are

Value Shore is a government backed Association of the largest and most successful ITC consulting firms operating in Spain with offices in Madrid and London. It was created by The Spanish Association of Consulting Firms (AEC).

We aim to:

  • Increase awareness of the Spanish ITC market and the talent that can be available to our European neighbours. As in figure 1, current percentage of work done for European countries is 9% and we aim to reach 20% in 3 years.
  • Help European organizations enter the Spanish ICT market and begin to work with the right vendors.
  • Ensure companies have the information they need to shortlist prospective partners – this includes advising on the potential tax breaks offered by specific regions and organizing and funding site visits.
  • Give your organization access to lawyers and contract specialists and provide independent quality control during outsourcing projects to ensure both parties fulfil their contractual obligations.

In summary, Value Shore offers free and agile support to firms looking to outsource to Spain.

 

What is the AEC?

The AEC is a national non-profit organisation with headquarters in Madrid, whose members are the main consultancy firms in Spain. It was originally established in 1977 to represent, defend and develop the activity and interests of the ICT sector and its partners.

AEC plays an important role in the ICT national arena in fact that its members represent over 80% of the total turnover of the Management and Technology Consultancy market. Furthermore, they also employ over 60% of the professionals in the sector that represents a market that moves €9.5 billion a year and provides work to over 120,000 employees, 85,000 of whom are university graduates.

The AEC is an active member of FEACO (the European Federation of Management Consultancies Association).
