Delaware is a Spanish company of reference in the IT and Business Process Consulting sector, specialized in developing solutions that help the companies and Public Administration to improve efficiently their business processes and provide their customers with new added value services.

Founded in the year 2000 has offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Albacete, the Ukrainian city of Lviv, Santo Domingo, Lima and Bogota, and a current staff of 420 employees.

Delaware develops projects in the sectors of Telecommunications, Public Administration, Defense, Infrastructure and public works, Pharmacy and Banking. Delaware turnover for 2008 was €19,5 million.
 

Our services: 

Delaware has three dedicated Software Centers in Spain to offer IT services in order to assure the efficiency and the quality of the service. Delaware provides solutions to the Spanish and foreign companies to fulfil their needs of outsourcing in a very competitive conditions and offering a high quality service. This is so, due to:

 

  • High qualification of the professionals in Delaware. The vast majority of the staff has a university degree with a technical background and several years of experience in the IT sector.
     
  • Quality methodology. In Delaware the work is developed under strict protocols of quality and IT best practices, based on ITIL and CMMI methodologies.
     
  • Commitment with the client. The commitment with the client and with the project is one of the best quality assurances. The agreements regarding the Quality Service are the key to define the SLAs that are signed with the client.
     
  • Innovation for the client. Delaware due to its innovation capability goes beyond just offering a standard outsourcing process and is able to design customised solutions that better accomplish the client’s needs. As a result of this work several technological products had been developed in house with the aim to optimize the processes of the clients.

 

The Software Center in Madrid accomplishes the innovation and development of new solutions, products and added value services. Among these services are:

 

  • Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). The outsourcing services of Delaware fulfil in a efficiency way the needs of the clients (cost, productivity), helping them to optimize their processes by means of automation of the tasks. This automation is achieved through the use of the technology providing savings in costs and improvement in the efficiency of the processes. The invoicing of the service is submitted through the use of SLAs previously defined, and is possible to carry out a flexible workforce volume according to workload. Delaware has a proven methodology that allows a fast knowledge of the client, and offers an exhaustive documentation of activities and reports of the service.
     
  • Certification of Applications. The center of certification of Delaware allows reducing the costs related to deficiencies in the developments of the software, optimize the management of the guarantees of the suppliers, identify problems and errors and carry out nonintrusive audits of already existing projects.
     
  • Development of Software. Delaware offers a wide range of ad hoc software developments, re-engineering, reusability of components and systems maintenance, product customisation, quality assurance, maintenance and support.
     
  • Release and Software Configuration Management. Through these services, the companies can carry out an efficient and systematic management of the different code releases of their corporate applications, by the use of different tools like inventories and software code versions register, traceability and unequivocal code identification, code installation automation, software reutilization, reduction in errors by code regression coordination and parallelization of development lines of code.
     

The Software Center in Albacete main aim is to carry out the innovation and development of the activities of the company and the Maintenance Outsourcing of the applications. The maintenance activity covers the four phases: corrective, evolutive, perfective and adaptative. These services goal is to get the reduction of costs through the internal task automation. Like in BPO, the invoicing of the service is based on SLAs compliance and is possible to carry out a flexible workforce volume according to workload.

The Software Center in Barcelona is specialized in developing mobility solutions. During the last years, Delaware has developed a solid platform that allows automating any typology of business process to develop specific applications in order to give mobility to concrete business processes.

Delaware is in charge of a proven methodology that is based in the use of technological tools that allows the task automation and a fast knowledge of the client, offering an exhaustive documentation of activities and reporting of the service.
